In the video, a man can be seen hitting the child with a stick while he begs for mercy.
The video caption reads,"मेराक्याकसूरथापानीयहतो
मेरेछूनेसेहोतामेलामटकाफोड़, तूदेता।मैंनेतोभगवानमानातूतोरा
English translation to this reads, "What was my fault? I am innocent. I do not know what caste I belong to. I believed in God, you turned out to be a demon."
A nine-year-old Dalit boy died on August 13 after he was beaten up allegedly by a teacher for touching a drinking water pot in a private school in the Jalore district of Rajasthan.

NewsMeter performed a reverse image search and found an old video. This incident happened on July 6, 22 in Patna, Bihar. Amarkant Kumar, working in a tuition center brutally thrashed a child. Police filed an FIR and the investigation is still going on.
We found a tweet by ANI dated July 7, 2022, which reads: "Bihar: Tuition teacher Amarkant Kumar arrested for brutally thrashing 6y/o student. The teacher thrashed the child after he witnessed the teacher talking to a female student. A special team was constituted considering the matter's seriousness: SSP Patna".
According to The Times of India: "Tuition teacher Amarkant Kumar was arrested for brutally thrashing a 6-year-old student. The teacher thrashed the child after he found him talking to a female student."
Putting light on the recent Jalore Dalit boy death case which took place on 20th July 22. A report suggests, "A minor boy who was a Dalit was allegedly beaten to death by a teacher in Surana village of Rajasthan. Family members of the nine-year-old boy who died on Saturday (August 13) in Ahmedabad hospital alleged that the child was assaulted by a teacher on July 20 for touching a drinking pot that was meant for upper caste people".
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed his grief and concern over the incident.
Hence, an old video is being linked to the Jalore Dalit boy's death. The claim is False.
