Fact Check: Old videos passed off as negative audience review of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan

The much-awaited Shah Rukh Khan's film ‘Jawan’ finally hit theatres on September 7. After record-breaking advance bookings, the film has emerged as the biggest Hindi opener of all time, surpassing SRK’s last release Pathaan.
Amidst this, several videos claiming to show people coming out of the theatres and speaking negatively about the film Jawan are doing the rounds on social media.
An X user shared the video of an old man saying there is no story in the film. “Another honest review of #Jawan straight from the famous gaiety galaxy, Mumbai. "Story me koi dum nahi hai" And the last line when Dadu lost his calm. #JawanReview,” The caption of the video reads.

In another viral on X captioned “Jawan Review 1.2/10 Disaster Movie Worst Songs Ever in any Srk Movie The Only Best this Was Interval #JawanReviews #Jawan." A man is heard saying 'This is the worst film'.

We also found the extended version of the second video clip published by Viral Bollywood on August 4, 2017. It shows the young man wearing a black shirt giving a review to the Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starer 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'.
The video is titled “This Is The Worst Movie On The Planet | Jab Harry Met Sejal Movie Review.”

Hence, we conclude that the viral videos are old and show the public reaction to Udta Punjab, Jab Harry Met Sjal and Zero. The claim that the video shows the public review of Jawan is false.
