Fact Check: Old visuals from Syrian hospital bombing falsely resurface as Israel-Hamas conflict
The viral video is old and unrelated.

The viral video shows footage from multiple CCTVs inside a hospital at the time of the bombing. Multiple people, including patients and doctors, were seen taking the blast at close quarters.
The Instagram post was shared with the caption, āThat last part oh my God I canāt stand the chills Ya Allah give strength to all souls who are fighting in P4L3st1ne ya Allah. (sic)ā
Another post with the video said, āIs this human acts or the evil Satan actions. May God wrath falls on them and whoever supports them amen. (sic)ā
Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the claim was false as the video was old.
Taking a closer look at the viral video, we found the watermark AMC in the corner of the video.
Taking this as a cue, we performed a reverse image search and found the same video uploaded by AMC Media Production on their YouTube channel with the title of āMoments that document the airstrike that targeted Omar bin Abdulaziz Hospital in mid-Julyā dated July 31, 2016.
Through this, we found that the CCTV footage shows the corridors of Omar bin Abdulaziz Hospital in the Syrian regime.
A further search led us to a media report on Al-Watan carrying the same visual titled āSyria.. Video of the moments of the targeting of Omar bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Aleppoā published on July 31, 2016.
The report said, āOmar Abdel Aziz Hospital in the Maadi neighbourhood, in the centre of Aleppo, was subjected to aerial bombardment by the Syrian regime in the middle of this month, causing material damage and injury to patients and medical staff. Omar bin Abdulaziz Hospital was hit by no less than three air strikes, over a period of 45 days in June and July.ā
It further added that itās the third and most devastating attack, which injured a number of employees, occurred on July 16 and reportedly involved a barrage of barrel bombs followed by a Russian air strike.
Similar visuals of the aftermath of the Syrian bombing on Omar bin Abdulaziz Hospital were also shared by AMC mid-July 2016.
