FACT CHECK:
The video was shot this week during a dharna held at the Holagunda bus stand in Kurnool after authorities refused permission to celebrate the birth anniversary of the PFI (Popular Front of India).
'SDPI Holagunda' and 'PFI Holagunda' have issued a clarification on Facebook stating that the slogan 'Pakistan Zindabad' was not raised during the dharna. The slogan 'Popular Front Zindabad' was being shouted.
The SDPI Alur Assembly Secretary clarified: "A video is viral in the name of SDPI. Yesterday a dharna took place via Popular Front. Some people say that the slogan Pakistan Zindabad was raised. People have changed the slogan from Popular Front Zindabad to Pakistan Zindabad and are making it viral. This is false. We have reached out to the police to file a case against those who have spread the false news." The statement issued by PFI Holagunda also clarified that 'Popular Front Zindabad' was chanted during the dharna in connection with the PFI Emergence Day celebrations.
Evidently, it is clear that Pakistan Zindabad slogans were not raised in Kurnool district.
