A video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly visiting a royal family is viral on social media. Users claim that for the first time, the Indian prime minister was invited to a banquet by the Queen of the United Kingdom.
“While the Congressmen are always playing the trumpet of the Nehru and Gandhi family. However, for the first time in history, the Queen of the United Kingdom has invited the Prime Minister of India to her palace for a banquet. It is also worth considering that the royal family is proud to be photographed with him. This is a matter of pride not only for Prime Minister Modi but for the whole country,” reads the English translation of the Facebook post.
Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the video shows PM Modi visiting the Queen of Denmark, not the Queen of the United Kingdom.
On performing a reverse image search of the video’s keyframe, we found a video report by Hindustan Times from May 4, 2022, titled “PM Modi attends dinner hosted by the Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark, Margrethe II.”
The video showed identical visuals to the viral video.
We also found several photos of the visit posted by the X handle of PM Modi on May 4, 2022. “Met Her Majesty, the Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark, Margrethe II in Copenhagen,” read the caption.

According to The Times of India report of 4 May 2022, during the second day of PM Modi's visit to Europe, he was accorded a warm welcome by the Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II at the historic Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen.
Further, we found that PM Modi had visited Buckingham Palace in 2015 upon being invited by the then Queen of the United Kingdom.

However, this is not the first time that the Indian Prime Minster was hosted by the UK’s Queen. In 1969, Indira Gandhi was hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace.
Hence, we conclude that the viral video shows PM Modi hosted by the Queen of Denmark. Also, the claim of PM Modi being the only Indian prime minister hosted only by the UK's Queen is false.
