Fact Check:

The claim is false.

NewsMeter checked the Twitter account mentioned in the viral post. The account does not exist now.

We found many fake accounts in Murmu's name. None of the accounts are verified. One of the accounts was created in June 2022.

Further, we checked the media reports about the viral statement about making India a Hindu country. There is no evidence that these remarks were made by Murmu. If Murmu had said something similar to the viral comments, the entire media would have covered it. But we couldn't find any such reports.

Suraj Kumar Mahto, Murmu's PA, told Aaj Tak that Murmu is not on Twitter yet and that the tweets going viral in her name are fake.

Hence, the claim is false.
