Hyderabad: A video of the Leader of the Opposition (LOP), Rahul Gandhi, reportedly from an airport, has been circulating on social media, claiming that the Congress leader has flown to London after the Delhi blast of November 10. It is also being alleged that he was seen with an unidentified woman.
BJP leader Radhika Khera shared the video with the caption, “Heard Rahul Gandhi went to Muscat, but ended up in London. Every few weeks, Rahul Baba goes missing. No press release, no party statement, just foreign trips and a ‘mystery’. What is cooking in these ‘secret trips’? Five days ago in London, two days later, the Delhi blast. A reverse image search of the video’s keyframes led us to it, published by a blogger on YouTube with the channel named UKvibes-with-Om on September 28. The blogger stated in the caption that he met Rahul Gandhi at Heathrow Airport in London.
According to the channel description, the blogger is a student exploring life in the UK. Through this channel, he shares experiences of studying, living and travelling.
The Delhi blast happened on the evening of November 10, which confirms that the viral video predates the explosion in the country’s capital.
To identify the young woman, we compared keyframes from the video with an image of Miraya Vadra, which confirms that Rahul Gandhi’s niece is walking with him in the viral video.
