Although the actor is well now, rumors of his death are circulating online.

NewsMeter performed a keyword search to check for media reports about the actor's death but did not find any.
We checked the official Twitter page of Sunny Deol and found a poster of his upcoming movie 'Chup' that was uploaded on 25 August. This confirms that the actor is alive.
The same promotional poster of 'Chup' was also uploaded on his Facebook page.
Also, according to the entertainment website Bollywood MDB.com, two of Sunny Deol's movies – Gadar 2 and Chup: Revenge of the Artist – are releasing in 2022.
The website deadorkicking.com also clarified that the actor is alive. It said, "Sunny is alive and kicking and is currently 65 years old. Please ignore rumors and hoaxes."
The rumors started in July when Sunny Deol flew to the US for treatment following a back injury.
Hence, the claim that actor Sunny Deol is dead is fake.
