Hyderabad: A video allegedly showing State minister Seethakka criticising chief minister A Revanth Reddyā€™s election promises is going viral on social media. The viral video contains several video clips of CM Revanth Reddy making several promises during the elections, along with a video clip of minister Seethakkaā€™s statement.

In the video, CM Revanth can be heard saying, ā€œGo to the bank and get two lakhs, I will waive it off on December 9thā€¦ Next month, on December 9, Indirammaā€™s kingdom will come again, and weā€™ll give you a pension of Rs 4,000, not Rs 2,000ā€¦ The Congress party will support you by giving an unemployment allowance of Rs 4,000 every month. The Congress party has decided to deposit Rs 2,500 every month in the accounts of girls... Even tenant farmers will get Rs 15,000 per acre every year, and landless employment guarantee workers will get Rs 12,000 every year.ā€

After the video clips of CM Revanthā€™s election promises, a clip of Seethakka plays where she can be heard saying, ā€œYou should have some shame and embarrassment when you say and do such things. If you lie about something endlessly, people will think itā€™s true. You should have moral values, right? You should have moral values when you say and put up such things.ā€

The video was shared by a Facebook account called KTR Youth Force, with the caption, ā€œNow Seethakka will also hold you accountable, gangmaster...ā€ (Archive)

Using reverse image search of the videoā€™s key frames, we found a video shared on X by BIG TV Breaking News. The interview video of Seethakka uploaded on March 5, 2025, visually matched the viral video.

We conducted a keyword search on YouTube for the full video of this interview. The video was uploaded on the YouTube channel of BIG TV Nalgonda on March 6, 2025, with the title ā€˜Minister Seethakka Special Interview | This is my suggestion to my brother Revanth Reddy.. | CM Revanth Reddy | BIGTV.ā€™

The clip in the viral video started at the 6:17-minute mark in the YouTube video. In this video, minister Seethakka can be heard saying that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) do not like the programs being done by the Congress party to fulfil the aspirations of the people.

ā€œEverything we have done, programs that reach the public and fulfil the aspirations of the people... BRS and BJP people donā€™t like it. No matter what scheme we start, there is immediate reverse talk,ā€ Seethakka said in the interview.

ā€œNo government in the past has done so muchā€”neither KCR nor Modi. Yet, they continue to criticise us endlessly. They have even set up dedicated YouTube channels to spread falsehoods, manipulating information to make non-existent things appear real and vice versa. So evil, their propaganda is filled with endless lies upon lies,ā€ she said.

Speaking about those who spread fake news, Seethakka said, ā€œYou should be ashamed and embarrassed when you say and spread such things. If you lie about something endlessly, people will think itā€™s true. You should have moral values. You should have moral value when you say it..,ā€ said Seethakka. Seethakka said those spreading misinformation are doing it out of frustration over losing power.

In the unedited video, Seethakka was criticising opposition parties for allegedly spreading misinformation against the Congress government. In the viral video, her remarks were edited to misrepresent her statements.
