FACT CHECK:
We performed a reverse image search and found a report by DHAKA TRIBUNE that states that the incident took place at a Madrasa located near Konak Community Centre at Hathazari, Bangladesh. The abuser, identified as Md Yahya, was a teacher at Al Markazul Quran Islamic Academy. He had grabbed the boy by the neck, taken him into a room, thrown him on the floor, and thrashed him with a cane
Another report by THE BUSINESS STANDARD also states that the incident took place in Chittagong's Hathazari. Yahya was arrested by Hathazari Police after a case was filed. He was also fired from the institution. " Hathazari Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam said that the student's father had filed a case with the Hathazari Police Station alleging that the child had been abused. Although they did not agree to sue at first, they were persuaded later", reads the report.
This incident took place in Bangladesh and has been falsely linked to India.
Hence, the claim is false.
