Earlier in 2022, a YouTube video sparked a rumour that Tesla will launch its first satellite phone apparently called Model Pi/P on 21 December 2022.
Did Elon Musk make any such official announcement about the launch of Tesla smartphone Model Pi/P?

Fact Check
NewsMeter performed a keyword search to find leads about Tesla and the rumours surrounding the launch of its satellite phone. The search led us to an article titled "Tesla Phone: News and Expected Price, Release Date, Specs; and More Rumors" on Lifewire that clearly refuted the claim.
It said, "There has been speculation about a potential Tesla phone, rumored to be called Model Pi/P, but there is no credible evidence to confirm its existence."
It also said the YouTube video is merely a design idea of the designer and not the final product by Tesla.
"Most of the rumors come from an early 2021 YouTube video from adrstudiodesign, but they clearly state those are the designer's ideas, not real leaks or details from Tesla. Most of the rumors we've seen appear to be based on that source," it further added.
Moreover, Elon Musk has said Tesla is not developing smartphones as "smartwatches & phones" are "yesterday's technology."
Definitely not. Smartwatches & phones are yesterday's technology, Neuralinks are the future.

Also, Musk's reply to Liz Wheeler's tweet may have sparked rumours of Tesla launching a phone. In November 2022 Wheeler had tweeted, "If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, @elonmusk should produce his own smartphone. Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?"
To this, Musk had replied, "I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone."

As of now, there has been no official announcement by Tesla or Elon Musk regarding a satellite phone.
Hence, the claim is false.
