The social media users have shared an old video from Africa as recent.

A video of a group of people converting to Islam is viral on social media with users claiming that a whole village of immigrants in Africa converted to Islam.
The video is viral on X under the Hashtag Masha Allah.
An X user shared the video with the caption āAll the immigrants in a small village in Africa have converted to Islam. Masha Allah.ā
The video is also viral on Facebook and YouTube.

Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the video is from 2019.
We conducted a reverse image search on the keyframes of the video and found several links to the video. We however could not find any authentic source of the video but several Facebook pages have uploaded the video which clarified that the video is old.
The viral video was uploaded on a Facebook page dated December 19, 2019, with the caption āA whole village in Africa convert to Islam.ā
The same video was also uploaded by another Facebook page in 2020.
Similarly, several other pages have shared the video dates back to 2020, links of which can be seen, here, here and here.
Hence, we conclude that the viral video is actually from 2019, being shared as recent.
