A video of women fighting over seat in Metro is being shared out of context

Amid the row over the name change from India to Bharat several videos are going viral on social with users claiming that people are fighting over the name change row.
One such video shared by an X user with the caption ‘Another video of fight between #BharatVsIndia in #DelhiMetro surfaced’. The video had garnered more than 22 thousand views till this fact check was filed.

NewsMeter investigation revealed that the video is unrelated to India to Bharat name change row.
We conducted a search on X with related words and found the same video shared by another X user on September 2, 2023, while as the name change debate started on September 5.
Taking a cue from this we conducted a reverse image search on the screenshot of the viral video and found the same video carried by Tv9 in the form of a reel.
The text in the video suggested that the war of words between the two woman was over seat.
NewsMeter investigation revealed that the viral video has nothing to do with the ongoing India to Bharat name change row. Hence the claim that women were fighting over name change row is false.
