Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the claim is false. The viral video is AI-generated and not real CCTV footage.
A keyword search revealed no credible news reports or official confirmations of any tiger attack at the Brahmapuri Forest Guest House. This hinted to us that the incident may not have happened, and the footage is artificial.
On close observation of the visuals, several inconsistencies can be noticed: the man’s movements appear unnatural and robotic, especially when he starts running, resembling animation rather than real motion.
The man runs towards the tiger instead of away, which is highly unrealistic behaviour in such a situation.
In one frame, the man’s left sleeve appears full and white, while in later frames, the sleeve becomes half, suggesting rendering errors typical in AI-generated content.
To verify further, NewsMeter ran the video through Hive Moderation, an AI-content detection tool, which flagged the footage as 98.1 per cent likely to contain AI-generated elements.
