Hyderabad: A video of a flooded street is widely shared on social media. Users claim that this happened in Delhi and civilians could be seen pushing a stuck vehicle.
Fact Check:
The claim is false.
NewsMeter checked the video frames and noticed the Initial letter of the vehicle. It was `H'.
In the 32-second video, we can see a few closed stores. When observing closely one of the store boards, we can find Chopra electricals written on it.
Taking that as a clue, we google-searched for the establishment in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The store is in the Rohtak district of Haryana.
Further, at the beginning of the video, the number P-25 is visible on one of the pillars of the overbridge. We spotted the same number on a pillar on Google Maps.
We also found a tweet by AAP's Haryana unit that posted a video from the same neighborhood on the same day.
Hence, the claim is false.
