HYDERABAD: A video of several motorcyclists falling and getting injured while riding over a slippery flyover is being shared on social media. Users claim it happened due to heavy rainfall at Shaikpet flyover, Hyderabad.
Last week, heavy rains lashed Hyderabad. The highest rainfall of 92.8 mm was recorded at Madhapur, Serilingampally Mandal of Rangareddy District.
The video is being shared with the text, "Shaikpet flyover, 2W avoid it in rains"

Newsmeter performed an InVid search and found multiple news outlets reporting on the incident, however, the location is mentioned as Karachi, Pakistan.
According to GEO TV, a Pakistani media outlet, on 22 June an unexpected dust-storm and heavy downpour lashed various areas of Karachi resulting in slippery roads that caused many motorcyclists to fall and get injured while riding. The incident took place at the flyover on Rashid Minhas Road near Millennium Mall. Several motorcyclists were slipping on the road one after another while coming down the ramp and commuters on other vehicles stopped to help the fallen motorcyclists.
