Hyderabad: An opinion poll reportedly done by the news outlet ABP for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections 2024 is making rounds on social media. The viral CVoter survey poster is dated February 29 and bears the logo of ABP Live. It predicts 142 seats for the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and 33 seats for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party (JSP) combined.
An X premium handle named YSRCP Youth shared the poster using the hashtags “#YSJagan #YSJaganAgainIn2024.” Click here for the archived version.

NewsMeter found that the viral poster is fabricated.
We ran a keyword search on X and came across a post by ABP Live from February 29, stating that the viral survey for the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections is fabricated.
We also came across a report from ABP News of February 29 titled “Fake News Alert: ‘ABP-CVoter Survey’ On AP Election 2024 Going Viral On Social Media Is Fabricated.”
It said that the poster being widely circulated on WhatsApp and other platforms is completely fabricated and false. It also mentioned, that contrary to the claims made in the viral post, ABP Live and CVoter have not issued any such projections or data regarding the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections 2024.
Hence, we conclude that the viral opinion poll predicting 142 seats for the YSRCP in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections was not published by the ABP group and is fabricated.
