Hyderabad: A photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin holding a book by former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is being widely circulated on social media. Another book by Imran Khan can also be seen on the table.

NewsMeter found that the viral image is morphed.
We performed a simple reverse image search of the viral image and found the original image uploaded on the stock photo website Alamy. In this photo, too, Putin is holding a book but it is not by Imran Khan.
According to Alamy, the photo of Vladimir Putin was shot in Moscow, Russia on 14 June 2016. The caption reads, "Russian President Vladimir Putin reviews a book during a meeting with President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Fortov and Director of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organisations Mikhail Kotyukov at the Kremlin June 14, 2016 in Moscow, Russia."
For further confirmation, we have compared the two images:
From the above investigation, it is evident that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not reading Imran Khan's book in the viral image.
The photo is morphed. Hence, the claim is false.
