Hyderabad: A video is going viral with a claim that clean water was not provided to Telangana policemen who were posted for security duties during BJP national executive meeting in Hyderabad.

Fact Check

The claim is false.

Recently BJP national executive meeting was held in Hyderabad. Prime Minister Modi also attended the meeting.

We noticed the Andhra Pradesh Police logo on the police uniform in the video.

We searched on YouTube with relevant keywords for information about the viral video. We came across a 10tv news video, that reported that the footage was related to Alluri Sitaramaraj's 125th birth anniversary celebrations in Bhimavaram recently.

The title of the video reads, "Bhimavaram Police facing problems by water shortage."



As part of the 125th birth anniversary celebrations, Prime Minister Modi unveiled a 30-feet bronze statue of Alluri Alluri Sitaramaraj.

Hence, the claim is false.
