Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the claim is false, as no such gaming app has been announced by the Ambanis or by others featured in the video. The video has been manipulated using AI.
We noticed several discrepancies in the video, including lip movements that didnāt sync with the audio, unclear words and the use of uncommon Hindi terms. Additionally, Kohli and Roshanās statements were abruptly cut and lacked coherence.
Mukesh and Anant Ambani
We fragmented the video into keyframes but could not perform a reverse image search of Mukesh Ambaniās keyframe as it was too small. However, a reverse image search of Anant Ambaniās keyframes yielded us the original video published by Kanak News on February 26, 2024, titled āReliance Industries Anant Ambani Announces Launch Of āVantaraā -Star Of The Forest.ā
In this video, Anant Ambani talks about his āRadha Krishna Temple Elephant Welfare Trustā and the elephant rescues carried out by the trust. This video does not show him announcing an aviator gaming app for investment.
Virat Kohli
A reverse image search of Kohliās keyframes led us to a 46-minute podcast published on the YouTube channel of Royal Challengers Bengaluru on February 26, 2023, titled āVirat Kohli on EatSure Presents RCB Podcast Full Episode.ā
We also found an over two-minute clip from the podcast published by the franchise on the same date titled, āVirat Kohli opens up about his camaraderie with MS Dhoni on EatSure presents RCB Podcast.ā
These videos also do not show Kohli endorsing any investment gaming app by the Ambanis.
Hrithik Roshan
A reverse image search led us to Roshanās original videoāan interview with Anupama Chopra published by the YouTube channel of Film Companion on January 29, 2024.
According to the channel, Roshan discussed his film Fighter in the interview. He elaborated on a few scenes from the movie, shared his concerns about being perceived as a star before an actor, and expressed his passion for the filmmaking process. Nowhere in the interview does the actor endorse any Ambani investment app.
Authenticity of audio
We analysed the clip of Mukesh Ambani using the AI-detection tool Hive Moderation. The tool determined that the audio was AI-generated with a 99 per cent confidence score, while the video remained original. The overall analysis concluded that the video contained AI-generated or deepfake content with 99.8 per cent certainty.
Credibility of the domain promoting the download of the app
We examined the link with the domain amba-wheel.icu, which used the Play Store logo. According to Scam Detector, the domain was created on February 20, 2025, and is likely not legitimate. The trust index rated it 6.2 out of 100. The tool also noted that while the domain appears to be associated with the web and app development industry, it is merely a facade.
Hence, we conclude that the viral video featuring the Ambanis, Kohli and Roshan was created by combining clips from different videos, with the audio manipulated using AI.
