Failure to obtain US visa, youngster ends life

Hyderabad: Allegedly failing to secure a US visa forced a youngster to end his life. 29-year-old KV Adityanath allegedly jumped from the terrace of his apartment at Niya in the city, where he was residing along with his parents.

Adityanath had completed his MSc and went to the USA a year ago looking for a job. For six months he worked part-time at several places and returned to India six months ago.

Since then he has been on the lookout jobs in the US and had even attended interviews for the visa process. Despite a couple of attempts to secure a job in the US and clear the visa interview, he could not succeed due to which he was reportedly depressed.

On Saturday night after dinner, he went up to the terrace. Around two hours later, the guard at the apartment heard a loud noise and when he searched the premises, he found a man lying in a pool of blood. With the help of other the residents, he identified the victim and informed his parents.

They rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.
