automobile industry. She was addressing the media on the NDA government's 100 days at the office in
its second consecutive term. She presented a report card on their government’s achievements.
‘The Automobile industry is now affected by BS6 and the mindsets of millennial, who now prefer to have
Ola or Uber rather than committing to buying an automobile’ she told the press while answering a
question.
Her remarks have been lambasted in twitter. The twitterites mocked her being ‘illiterate’ in financial
matters, while others term the statement as ‘bull shit’.
It must be mentioned here that there is a slump in the motor industry which is affecting thousands of jobs across the country. The sales of the two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles have been decreasing for the
last 10 months. August recorded 32 per cent dip in automobile sales which is having a high impact of
Indian economy.
