Fire breaks out in Telangana Express, no casualty
By Bhartendu Sharma Published on 29 Aug 2019 7:47 AM GMTKolkata: A fire broke out in two coaches of the Train no: 12723--- Hyderabad Deccan---New Delhi---Telangana Express at 7.45 am at the Asaoti station in Haryana on Thursday. No casualty or injuries have been reported.
Train no: 12723 (Telangana Express) was stopped between Asaoti and Ballabgarh station in Haryana at 7.43 am as heavy smoke and flames were seen rising from the wheels of the ninth coach from the rear end. Movement of trains in this section was affected.
Northern Railways spokesperson Deepak Kumar said, "All passengers are safe and the coaches in which the fire broke out have been isolated and replaced with new ones. The train will depart without any further delay."
