Former Bigg Boss contestant gets beaten up by an angry mob

Chennai: Venkatram Laxman, who is better known as Huccha Venkat, the ex-contestant of Bigg Boss Kannada, was beaten up by an angry mob in Madikeri. Kannada actor Huccha Venkat was thrashed by mob for slapping a man and damaging his car in Kodagu, Karnataka.

The incident took place on August 29 in Napoklu village. Huccha Venkat was beaten up by a group of people after he slapped a man named Dileep and destroyed the glass of his car. The video of the public thrashing the actor has now become viral.

According to Dileep, Huccha Venkat started behaving aggressively without a valid reason. "Venkat came to me, asking why I was staring at him. He appeared threatening while he was repeatedly asking if I knew who he was. I started enquiring if he was Huccha Venkat, after which he slapped me and destroyed my car,” he said.

It appears like the people who were around, who felt the actor is being insensitive in behaving in a wrong manner, thrashed him. Police have taken Venkat into custody and interrogation is underway.
