Good Samaritan Hyderabad cops save woman in labour, baby

Much to everyone’s joy, the woman later delivered a healthy baby. The Red Cross hospital at Saidabad in the city became witness to this memorable moment.
Identified as Urmila, a resident of Asmanghad, she is working as a helper at Holy Mother School at Malakpet. Around 4 am on Sunday, she developed labor. Since she was in excruciating pain, she came out of her home to find a ride in order to reach the hospital. Despite waiting for half an hour, she could not find any vehicle.
In the meantime, a patrol car-I of Saidabad police station, passed by. The patrolling staff noticed the woman crouching on the road. On inquiry, they found the woman was in labor. The team immediately shifted her to the nearby Red Cross Hospital where she delivered a healthy girl child.
Good Samaritan police did not leave until they meet the mother and baby. The staff gave her Rs 700 as a token of love for the child. Urmila thanked the patrolling team before they left for their work.
