Director Harish Shankar who scored an industry hit like 'Gabbar Singh' is in a dire need for a decent hit now. Mega hero Varun Tej as the main lead, Harish Shankar is directorial in charge of the upcoming movie titled 'Valmiki'. Valmiki is the official remake of the hit Tamil movie 'Jigarthanda'. Actress Pooja Hegde is to be seen as the female lead opposite Varun Tej who plays a gangster.

On the other hand, Harish Shankar's Twitter activity is hinting that he is up to something big. Gossips are going on that Harish Shankar is to direct Mega Star Chiranjeevi for his upcoming movie after Valmiki. Closer sources reveal that Harish Shankar is prepping up to narrate a story to Chiranjeevi.

Chiranjeevi who is to appear in the patriotic movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is seen actively participating in the public events lately. Harish Shankar shared one of the recent pictures of Chiranjeevi, quoting that it is his dream to direct Chiranjeevi. He says he is jealous of Koratala Shiva for bagging an opportunity to direct Chiranjeevi for his next project.

"Canā€™t resist to post this..pic for the first time am jealous of my friend @sivakoratala And waiting for the entire universe to conspire!!", Harish Shankar Tweeted. One of the popular Twitter handles replied to his Tweet reminding of what Chiranjeevi told to Harish Shankar during one of the public events.

Chiranjeevi is seen saying, "Gabbar Singh is one of my most favorite movies. Though I felt happy for my brother Pawan Kalyan, the actor inside me felt that I must have got an opportunity to act in a movie like this". Harish Shankar replied to the tweet saying that he is on his job, which might mean that he has plans to rope in Chiranjeevi for his next.

So, it is expected that Harish Shankar would direct Chiranjeevi. Official confirmation awaited though.
