Hyderabad: In one of the most bizarre claims backed with no logic, TRS Minister of labour, employment, women and child labour Ch. Malla Reddy said that plantation drive ‘Haritha Haaram’ would drive away Coronavirus from the state and urged the people to voluntarily rake part in the programme.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, he said that more greenery would mean more fresh air and it will reduce the use of air-conditioners that promote the breeding of virus. “By growing more trees, we can check the breeding of the virus and put a check to its spread,” he explained.
