Here’s what a youth did when he didn’t get his ‘quarter’ in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: Desperate times call for desperate measures. At least that was what this youth from Secunderabad thought, when he couldn’t manage to get his daily share of liquor.

In an absurd incident, a young man, who belongs to Secunderabad, climbed a street light pole around afternoon, near Sangeet junction in Secunderabad on February 23.

Upon asking why he had climbed the pole, causing danger to himself, the youth reportedly said that no one was offering him alcohol, and that was why he climbed the pole to gain attention of the public.

Since it was a Sunday, a massive crowd gathered at the spot, and asked him to climb down from the pole. Several people were found calling him ‘Bhaiyya, please climb down.”

The youngster created a ruckus for almost three hours, as he remained perched on top of the street light pole and refused to come down, demanding for his share of liquor.

It was only after much persuasion from the locals as well as the police, that he climbed down. Luring him with a liquor bottle, the local people managed to convince him and finally, his feet reached firm ground.

Earlier in September 2019, a drunken man had created ruckus on the Hyderabad metro, the video of which went viral on social media.
