Here’s why Namrata Shirodkar feels Mahesh Babu needs a long break from non-stop work

Hyderabad: Fans of Mahesh Babu are awaiting the release of his upcoming film Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by Anil Ravipudi. The shooting of this action entertainer has ended, as the final schedule is nearing completion. The film features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, and this is her first time collaborating with Mahesh Babu. Vijayashanti is playing a pivotal role in this film, and she is the primary and unique selling point of the film. With her being part of it, expectations are enormous.

We have learnt that post completion of the film Mahesh will be taking a three-month-long break. Confirming the same, his wife Namrata said, “Yes, Mahesh will be taking a break of three months after the release of Sarileru Neekevvaru in January. He wants to float through some time, be on his own, spend time with (his children) Gautam and Tara. Also, he is going to prep for his next film.”

Namrata feels that he has been working without a break for Maharshi and Sarileru Neekevvaru and so, he has earned a break. She said that when compared to the three years he kept himself away from work, the three-month break is nothing. “I think he needs a holiday where he doesn’t need to deal with the work pressure. He plans to take a three-month break. But I know him, and I feel he will get restless after a month and dive right back into work,” she added.

Mahesh will be seen playing Army Major Ajay Krishna in the film, which is slated for a worldwide release on Sankranti 2020. Devi Sri Prasad will compose music for the film, which is jointly bankrolled by Anil Sunkara, Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu.
