Bollywood action director bags 'Geetha Govindam' movie rights

Starring Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna, this movie was well-received by all quarters of the audience.
According to sources, Geetha Govindam will soon be remade in Hindi. Reports suggest that director Rohit Shetty has acquired the rights to remake Geetha Govindam. Though there is no official announcement yet, it is rumoured that Rohit Shetty is busy penning down the script for the film with minor changes.
Parasuram directed Geetha Govindam, which brought a decent receiving at the box-office. After Arjun Reddy's regressive impression, Vijay Deverakonda appeared in Taxiwala left audiences unimpressed. Vijay Deverakonda used Geetha Govindam to keep up the flow he received after the release of Arjun Reddy.
Rohit Shetty is rumoured to be prepping up to hold the gramophone for the remake of Geetha Govindam. Rohit Shetty's previous movie 'Simba', is also an official remake of a Telugu movie titled 'Temper'. Ranveer Singh played the role of a cop in Simbaa which was played by Tarak in Telugu.
