Hyderabad: Hyderabad police have arrested a youth for posting a fake Telangana Excise Department GO on social media platforms

Identified as Sunny, he had forged Telangana Excise Department GO stating that wine shops will be open for one hour from March 29 in view of the lockdown.

“He had created a fake GO that the excise department had started the sale of wine. He will be sent to jail now. This is a warning to those who circulate fake news,” said Anjani Kumar, City police commissioner.
