Hyderabad cop found hanging at home; family issues suspected

Hyderabad: A sub-inspector attached to the Amberpet police station in Hyderabad was found hanging at his home. It is believed the cop, Karingula Saidulu, committed suicide owing to family issues.
The police said 41-year-old Saidulu was from the 2007 batch and was working with the Central Crime Station of the city police. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Saidulu lived at Patel Nagar of Amberpet. On Monday morning, his wife Nirmala went to drop their daughters to school. Around 8.40 am, she returned home and found Saidulu hanging from the ceiling fan. Neighbours brought the cop's body down.
Though family issues are suspected to be the trigger, the police are probing into all possible angles. The Amberpet police have registered a case of suspicious death and sent the body for post-mortem.
