Hyderabad police imposes traffic restrictions on and near Necklace Road for marathon

Hyderabad: Hyderabad traffic police imposed traffic restrictions on October 13, Sunday, because of the 10K, 5K and 2K run conducted by Grace Cancer Foundation, Hyderabad. The limits will be in force at Necklace Road, and the approaching roads from 4.30 am to 7 am.

During the restrictions, traffic at various junctions will be diverted accordingly. Traffic coming from VV statue towards Khairatabad Flyover and Necklace Rotary will be diverted at VV statue towards Shadan College and Nirankari Bhavan.

Traffic coming from Telugu Talli Flyover will be diverted at Helipad Lane towards Mint compound, Khairatabad (Bada Ganesh). Vehicles coming from Iqbal Minar towards Upper Tank Bund will be redirected on Telugu Talli flyover at Old gate Secretariat

Traffic coming from Liberty junction and going towards Upper tank bund will be diverted at GHMC office towards BRKR Bhavan, Telugu Talli, and U-turn at Iqbal Minar’s on to Telugu Talli flyover.

Traffic coming from Karbala Maidan towards Upper Tank bund will be diverted at Children’s Park towards DBR mills. Vehicles coming from Kavadiguda X Road will not be allowed towards the Sailing Club, and those coming from DBR Mills will not be permitted towards Children Park.

Traffic coming from Minister Road and Ranigunj will not be allowed towards Necklace Road and will be diverted at Nallagutta Junction, towards Ranigunj. Traffic coming from the latter will be diverted at Nallagutta Junction, towards Minister Road.

Traffic police requested the public to avoid the above-mentioned roads, take alternate routes to reach their destination and cooperate with them for a smooth flow of traffic.
