Hyderabad techie commits suicide post break up with live-in partner

Hyderabad : A 34-year-old techie allegedly committed suicide after his live-in partner walked away from the relationship at KPHB.

Identified as Chandra Kiran, he was working for a Code Force 365. His cousin found him hanging at his flat on Tuesday morning. Chandra had left a note saying: “I can’t live without that girl.”

According to KPHB police, Chandra Kiran hailing from Andhra Pradesh was residing in a rented flat at KPHB phase II. For the past eight months, he was living with his live-in partner in the flat. Some 25 days ago, she left him and walked away.

Since then he had slipped into depression. On Monday night, his brother rang him up, but he did not take the call.

Worried, he asked his cousin to go and check on Chandra Kiran. On Tuesday morning, the cousin found the flat locked from inside. Later with police help, he broke open the door and found Chandra Kiran hanging from the ceiling.

Police have registered a case of a suspicious death case handed over the body to his relatives after a postmortem. Police are investigating.
