Price Violations
Three seizures were due to price violations, where the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) exceeded the ceiling price fixed by the Central Government under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013.

Overpricing of essential medicines is a violation under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013, and stringent action is to be taken against violators.
Manufacture and sale of drugs under food licenses
Three seizures were related to drugs being falsely manufactured and sold as nutraceuticals under food licenses, which is illegal under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
