Hyderabad: With VIP movement and traffic diversions in the city ahead of the Formula E race, traffic snarls were witnessed at the cityā€™s busy junctions on Thursday.

On Thursday, a line of vehicles, especially cars, were seen waiting long hours at Tank Bund, Secunderabad, Himayatnagar, Somajiguda, Prasads IMAX, Begumpet, and Khairatabad. Videos of commuters waiting for hours are trending on social media. According to locals, even auto-rickshaw drivers are demanding high prices, taking traffic as an excuse. The worst affected were those who had to travel from Secunderabad to Hi-Tech city. There were traffic jams on this route for more than 3 hours.

They further said the movement of vehicles is slow from SD Eye Hospital, NMDC, Masab Tank, Mahaveer Hospital, PTI, Ayodhya Jn., Nirankari towards Shadan College.
