3 minor girls drowns in pond at Kukatpally, bodies recovered
Three minor girls died by drowning after they accidentally fell into a pond while playing in the Kukatpally area on Friday. The incident took place at Phase 4 KPHB colony.

Hyderabad: Three minor girls died by drowning after they accidentally fell into a pond while playing in the Kukatpally area on Friday. The incident took place at Phase 4 KPHB colony.
The three deceased were identified as Ramya (7), Sangeeta (12), and Sophia (10) Two other girls who were playing along with them noticed the incident and immediately informed their parents. Till the parents would have reached the spot, one girl's dead body was found floating, they immediately informed the police
The police reached the spot and also pressed into service. After three hours of search, all the three dead bodies were fished out of the pond and they were shifted to Gandhi hospital mortuary for conducting post mortem. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
