3 Telangana IPS officers promoted to rank of inspector general of police

2005 batch IPS officers Avinash Mohanty, P. Vishwa Prasad, and M. Ramesh are empanelled and promoted with super time scale in the rank of the inspector general of police

Hyderabad: Three IPS officers of Telangana have been empanelled and promoted to the rank of inspector general of police. On Tuesday, a government order was issued by chief secretary Santhi Kumari in this regard.

2005 batch IPS officers Avinash Mohanty, P. Vishwa Prasad, and M. Ramesh are empanelled and promoted with super time scale in the rank of the inspector general of police, Level 14 in the Pay Matrix of IPS (Pay) Rules 2016.

Avinash Mohanty is retained in the same post as additional CP (admn.), Cyberabad.

P. Vishwa Prasad is retained in the same post as additional CP, SB, Hyderabad.

M. Ramesh is retained in the same post as inspector general of police (provisioning and logistics), Hyderabad.
