35 YO NIMS doctor goes missing from Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 35-year-old resident doctor working at NIMS hospital has gone missing since Sunday. Identified as Govind Gaikwad, a missing complaint has been lodged at Punjagutta police station. Special teams have been deputed to trace him.

On Monday, Dr. Hemanth Kumar, the Resident Administrator of the Department of Hospital Administration at NIMS lodged a complaint with the police stating that Govind Gaikwad, 35, working as a Resident in the Department of Neurosurgery, has switched off his mobile and left all WhatsApp groups of the department.

He said the doctor is not traceable by mobile or physical contact since Sunday morning. His residence at plot no: 41, Janta Apartment Durga Nagar, Panjagutta, Hyderabad was found locked from outside.

Hailing from Jayakwadi village of Purushotam Puri under Majalgaon Taluka in Beed district of Maharashtra state, Govind Gaekwad has been working at NIMS for over a year.
