4 foreign nationals held in Hyderabad with 110 gm Meth, 20 gm cocaine
The police found that the four men frequently visited Bangalore to procure drugs, i.e., Methamphetamine and cocaine
By Newsmeter Network Published on 30 Jun 2022 12:05 PM GMTHyderabad: Four foreign nationals were apprehended in the city for their alleged involvement in drug peddling. The police seized 110 grams of Methamphetamine, 20 grams of cocaine, and five mobile phones all worth Rs. 13 lakhs from them.
The four arrested persons are Henry Chigbo Umebuenyi (28) and Amobi Chuwudi alias Chuksdon Chidi Ifeadikanwanne (21) from Nigeria, Ahmed Kamal Ahmed Bakhrmua (28) from Yemen, and Mathias A. Shawa (35) from Tanzania.
The police found that the four men frequently visited Bangalore to procure drugs, i.e., Methamphetamine and cocaine. They brough the drugs to Hyderabad and sold them. Divine Ebuka Suzee from Nigeria who is the main drug supplier is absconding. Also, 23 consumers who have been identified so far are also absconding.
The police found that the four men were also illegally staying in the country. The Foreigners Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) Hyderabad was notified and it has issued orders to initiate further legal proceedings against the foreigner for illegal stay. A case has been registered under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act 1946 and Section 2 of the Passport (Entry into India) Act at the Banjara Hills police station.
