Hyderabad: On T-Hub's seventh foundation day, an "Internship Mela" was organised along with Stumagz on 4 November. Two thousand students and 73 start-ups attended the mela. Also, 400 students were selected for internships.

Third and fourth-year degree and B.Tech students were eligible to participate in the event.

Mahankali Srinivasa Rao, the CEO of T-Hub, said, "We are delighted to have partnered with Stumagz to set up this event. This is the first one-of-its-kind initiative, and we look forward to many more such events."

Speaking about the fear among students in the wake of a possible recession, Sricharan Lakkaraju, the founder of Stumagz, said, "The students selected are from tier 2 and 3 colleges. Such colleges won't get large companies for campus selections. But giving them internships well before graduation makes them job-ready for the future."
