5 arrested for sexually assaulting woman in abandoned area in Lalaguda
Main accused asked her to get on his bike claiming to drop her at Lalapet and took her to a abandoned place

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police arrested five persons for sexually assaulting a woman by pretending to help her reach her destination in their vehicle. The gang of five members took her to an abandoned place in Prashanth Nagar where they assaulted the woman.
The accused are identified as Barna Yesu (32), a mechanic from Prashanth Nagar in Lalapet; Seetha Madhu (34) of Mirjalguda, Malkajgiri; Sirigiri Prashanth Kumar (20), an open degree student from Moul Ali; Pastham Tharun Kumar (20), who does centring work in Moul Ali; and Keshojuva Rohith (19) from Malkajgiri.
Case details
On December 7, Barna Yesu was travelling on his Activa when he saw a woman on the roadside. He asked her to get on his bike claiming to drop her at Lalapet. Then he took her to a near-abandoned old railway quarters at Prashanth Nagar and called his Madhu Yadhav, informing him to come to the old Railway Quarters.
While Barna and Madhu sexually assaulted the woman, their friends Prashanth Kumar, Seetha Madhu and Tharun Kumar joined in the crime. Later, Seetha Madhu dropped her at Tarnaka.
After receiving the complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the five persons. Further investigation is on.
