ACB arrests GHMC Mehdipatnam Circle tax inspector, bill collector for accepting bribe
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested GHMC Tax Inspector for Mehdipatnam circle along with a bill collector for accepting a bribe of Rs 5000.

Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested GHMC Tax Inspector for Mehdipatnam circle along with a bill collector for accepting a bribe of Rs 5000.
Koushika Suresh Kumar was caught when he accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 5000 from complainant Mamidi Gnaneshwar through another accused Pallepaga Rajeshwar, a bill collector in GHMC. He had demanded a bribe to process the file relating to the mutation of the complainant's house.
The amount of Rs. 5,000 was recovered from the possession of Pallepaga Rajeshwar Kamatee. Fingers of Pallepaga Rajeshwar Kamatee yielded positive results in the chemical test.
"The officers performed their duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain an undue advantage. Koushika Suresh Kumar, Tax Inspector, and Pallepaga Rajeshwar, Kamatee Bill Collector are being produced before the Principal Special Judge for ACB cases. The case is under investigation," said ACB.
