Adulterated paneer racket busted in Hyderabad; 3,000 kg seized in raids on 6 shops

Hyderabad: Khairatabad Zone Task Force police, along with food safety officials, busted an illegal paneer manufacturing and distribution network operating under the Mahankali police station limits.
Authorities seized nearly 3,000 kg of adulterated paneer during coordinated raids on multiple locations across the city.
Raids on 6 shops
The task force teams conducted simultaneous raids on at least six shops, including Sri Balaji Dairy Products and Vijay Milk and Curd Shop, which were allegedly involved in producing and selling adulterated paneer.
Huge seizure
Officials recovered 1,600 kg of paneer from Sri Balaji Dairy Products alone, while another 1,000 kg was seized from Vijay Milk and Curd Shop. The remaining quantity was confiscated from other outlets linked to the network.

Joint operation by Police and Food Safety officials
The raids were carried out jointly by the Task Force police and the Food Inspector, who confirmed that the seized paneer was unfit for consumption. Samples have been sent for further testing.
Authorities are now probing the scale of the operation and identifying other outlets involved in the supply chain. Strict action is expected against those responsible under food safety laws.
