Hyderabad: HYDRAA has reclaimed 36 acres of government land valued at approximately Rs 3,600 crore in Kondapur, Rangareddy district.

The operation was carried out following a directive from the High Court.

Encroachment on Prime Land

The reclaimed land, located near the Kondapur RTA office (Survey No. 59), had been occupied by unauthorized individuals. Temporary sheds were set up, and commercial activities were being run in violation of government regulations.

Large-scale eviction operation

On Saturday, HYDRAA officials conducted a massive eviction drive, removing the occupants and dismantling the temporary structures. The operation was carried out under tight security to prevent any disruption.

Securing the property

Post-eviction, the authorities fenced the area and installed boards declaring it as government property, ensuring the land remains protected from future encroachments. The move has been widely praised as a significant step toward safeguarding public assets.
