Hyderabad: Residents complain of encroachments at Ameenpur to HYDRAA

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) is gearing up to conduct a comprehensive survey at Ameenpur, following a series of complaints about the encroachment of roads, parks and government lands in the locality, said HYDRAA commissioner AV Ranganath.

HYDRAA will seek help from the Survey of India

Ranganath on Friday said that the residents of Venkataramana Colony complained to the agency that the parks, roads and some plots of their colony were encroached by the adjacent Golden Key Ventures. After going through the complaints, the HYDRAA conducted a survey and in the preliminary investigation identified that parks and roads were encroached upon by Golden Key Ventures in survey number 152 and 153 of Venkataramana Colony, he said.

ā€œThe HYDRAA has decided to conduct a more in-depth survey. The agency is trying to conduct a joint survey with the involvement of the Central government agency, Survey of India. Apart from that, the HYDRAA also received complaints from several colonies adjacent to Venkataramana Colony in Ameenpur Municipality. Taking serious note of the complaints, the agency is ready to conduct a comprehensive survey,ā€ the HYDRAA commissioner said, and called upon the public to be part of the survey.
