At 39.6°C, Hyderabad’s Trimulgherry records city’s highest temperature so far
The IMD Hyderabad has also predicted that the city’s temperature will remain high until 3 April

Hyderabad: On Thursday, 30 March, the maximum temperature in Hyderabad reached a record high, making it the hottest day of the year thus far. According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), several other parts of Telangana experienced record temperatures on Thursday. The situation is projected to worsen in the coming days.
According to TSDPS, the temperature in Hyderabad’s Trimulgherry hit 39.6°Celsius, while Saidabad recorded temperatures higher than 39°.
The hottest temperature ever recorded in Telangana was in Kamareddy’s Bhiknoor. The temperature in the mandal hit 43.8°Celsius. Nirmal followed Kamareddy with the second-highest temperature of 42.7°Celsius.
Hyderabad temperatures to reach 40°Celsius
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has published a forecast predicting that the maximum temperature in the state would range between 37 and 41°Celsius till 2 April. In isolated areas, light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur.
The highest temperature in Hyderabad is likely to be between 35-38°Celsius until 2 April, with no rain expected in the following three days.
The IMD Hyderabad has also predicted that the city’s temperature will remain high until 3 April. The city’s temperature is expected to reach 40°Celsius soon, according to the weather department.
Yellow alert for Telangana
The weather department has issued a yellow notice for numerous Telangana districts, but no warning has been issued for Hyderabad.
Residents are encouraged to take necessary measures and plan accordingly in light of the forecasts issued by both IMD Hyderabad and TSDPS.
Reason for sudden increase in temperatures
