At UK House of Lords, Osmania University receives World's Best Brand 2022 award

Hyderabad: Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Prof. D Ravinder received the 'World's Best Brand 2022' award conferred to OU at the House of Lords, London, United Kingdom on Friday evening.
The selection for the award given by WCRC Leaders Asia is based on primary and secondary research data based on media reports and interviews with the stakeholders of the university.
"It is a moment of honour and a proud moment for me to represent Osmania University and receive this prestigious award on behalf of all the stakeholders of the university," said Prof. Ravinder.
On this occasion, Prof. Ravinder also met Lord Karan Faridoon Bilimoria CBE, DL, FCA, a Member of Parliament, a life peer in the UK House of Lords, and chancellor of the University of Birmingham, UK. Lord Karan Billimoria is an alumnus of Osmania University.
During the meeting, Prof. Ravinder discussed the possibilities of taking up research and academic collaboration between Osmania University and the University of Birmingham and extended an invitation to Lord Karan Bilimoria to the Global Alumni Meet 2023 scheduled in early January next year.
