Auto-rickshaw stunts: Chandrayangutta police arrest 7 after video goes viral

Hyderabad: Chandrayangutta police have arrested seven people after a video of auto-rickshaw stunts went viral. On February 25, cops received a complaint from constable H Prasad Rao that during patrolling, he found three auto-rickshaws performing stunts on the main road.

On seeing the patrolling party, the drivers escaped from the spot. The party noted down the registration number of one of the auto-rickshaws. A decal `Mubarak Risthe' was also on the rickshaw. Later the party lodged a written complaint.

The accused were identified as Syed Zubair, Syed Sahil, Mohammed Ibrahim, Mohammed Innayath, Gulam Saif Uddin, Mohammed Sameer, and Amer Khan.

The investigation has revealed that the drivers came to Chandrayangutta and started doing stunts on the main road. It created disturbance and panic among the public. It also endangered human lives and personal safety. The investigation has also revealed that they were involved in three crimes. Challans are pending against three auto-rickshaws.
