Badruka Educational Society launches campus for management studies in Medchal

Hyderabad: The Badruka Educational Society marked a pivotal moment in its 73-year history by inaugurating the Badruka School of Management (BSM) on Wednesday.

Despite the presence of four South Indian management institutions in the top 25 rankings of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), none hail from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

“With a legacy of pioneering higher education in Hyderabad, we are dedicated to filling this void through BSM,” said Srikishan Badruka, secretary of the Badruka Educational Society, emphasising the society’s commitment to contribute an institution to top-tier management education in South India.

BSM aims for sustainable progress

The inaugural batch for the AICTE-approved two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDBM) is set to commence classes in August at the expansive 14-acre campus in Hyderabad’s Medchal district. Admissions for the program are already underway.

The institution aspires to be a talent powerhouse to meet the growing needs of Hyderabad, now a sought-after destination for Indian and global businesses. The secretary highlighted the objective of nurturing professionals and entrepreneurs who excel in their domains, champion ethical values, and contribute to sustainable progress.

Dr Prabhu Aggarwal, BSM’s dean and former VC of other educational institutions, emphasised the transformative educational experience offered by BSM. “The curriculum integrates real-world challenges, experiential learning, and the latest industry insights to nurture skilled professionals and ethical leaders,” he said.

Environment conscious campus

BSM’s new-age curriculum blends core management principles with modules tailored to emerging industry demands. Courses include Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Sustainable Business.

Specialised tracks in the second year – Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Data Analytics and Digital Technologies, Innovation and Entrepreneurship – will be taught by leading domestic and international faculty members.

BSM plans to beyond academics by committing to sustainability with eco-friendly practices on campus. Through a meditation centre and initiatives like waste management and solar panelling BSM wishes to foster an environmentally conscious community.
